The Sober Homies Society envisions a transformative community rooted in compassion, sobriety, and service. Emerging from the lived experiences of individuals in recovery, it aims to create a welcoming outreach centre in downtown Edmonton. This centre will provide essential services such as meals, clothing, hygiene care, and recovery support, restoring human dignity and treating everyone with empathy and respect. By sharing their stories, those who have walked the path of addiction can uplift others, fostering hope and resilience.

Driven by recovery values, the Sober Homies Society addresses both immediate physical needs and deeper emotional, psychological, and spiritual wounds caused by homelessness and addiction. The proposed centre will serve as a hub for healing and growth, offering life skills classes, creative arts, medical care, and inclusive spiritual support across faiths. The long-term vision is to empower individuals to rediscover their worth, achieve stability, and rejoin society as contributing members. Edmonton Sober Homies is more than an organization — it is a movement toward connection, recovery, and lasting community empowerment.

Proposed outreach centre will provide the following services:
life skills assistance, Creative Expression Activities, medical care, Shower and Laundry Facilities, Haircuts and Hygiene Maintenance, spiritual guidance and support across various faiths.

Material donations in the form of food (beverages, sandwich meat, breads, snacks and ready to eat food), clothing such as socks and outerwear and blankets.
